It is suitable for architectural coil-coating topcoats.<br> <ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It is recommended to combine with HMMM resins (e.g. Cymel 303 LF) in ratios of 80-90% polyester & 20-10% melamine resin (calculated on solid binders).</li> <li>The addition of blocked acidic catalysts such as CYCAT® VXK 6395 in concentrations of 2-6% (on active substance) calculated on solid melamine resin is recommended to optimize the curing process and the chemical resistance.</li> <li>DUROFTAL® PE 7171/70SNABG has a shelf life of 365 days.</li></ul>

Coatings based on this product displays excellent adhesion on different metals including aluminum, steel and HDG steel. The final coatings have good anti-corrosion properties and good balance between hardness & flexibility. It is usually crosslinked with HMMM-type resins in ratios of 80-90% polyester and 20-10% melamine resin (calculated on solid binder). The addition of blocked acidic catalysts such as CYCAT® VXK 6395 in concentrations of 2-8% (active p-TSA) calculated on solid melamine resin is recommended to optimize the curing process and the chemical resistance. DUROFTAL® PE 7189/60SNAMPAC is used in coil (rolled metal) coating primers and backcoats. The shelf of this product is 365 days.

In combination with aliphatic polyisocyanates, pre-eminently with Desmodur® N 3300 (Bayer), it produces high quality, ultra high solids, two pack clear-coats and pigmented topcoats for the automotive refinish and industrial lacquer sectors. Films cured with DUROFTAL® VPI 2803/78BAC provides high hardness, high gloss and depth of image. They also offer superior weathering stability, excellent solvent- and chemical- resistance.

It has a shelf life of 730 days.

It is also recommended for topcoats and high-performance industrial stoving enamels. DUROFTAL® PE 6163/66SNABG has a shelf life of one year.

DUROFTAL® VPE 6104/60MPAC by allnex is an oil-free, saturated polyester. It offers very good levelling at roller application, good deformability and color stability. This product is especially suited for the production of cold-resistant tube coatings and sterilizable, cupping exterior can coatings and aerosol tin paints as well as sealers. DUROFTAL® VPE 6104/60MPAC serves as replacement of epoxy resins in phenol-epoxy-systems in order to get paints which do not contain BADGE or Bisphenol A. It is compatible with some phenolic resins (e.g. Phenodur PR 612 and VPM 1150). Such combinations shows good acid retort resistance, good adhesion and flexibility. It has a shelf life of 730 days.
