DUROFTAL® PE 7171/70SNABG by allnex is a low molecular, linear saturated polyester resin. It possesses high solids content and offers a high yield and good flexibility/hardness balance. It is suitable for architectural coil-coating topcoats.
- It is recommended to combine with HMMM resins (e.g. Cymel 303 LF) in ratios of 80-90% polyester & 20-10% melamine resin (calculated on solid binders).
- The addition of blocked acidic catalysts such as CYCAT® VXK 6395 in concentrations of 2-6% (on active substance) calculated on solid melamine resin is recommended to optimize the curing process and the chemical resistance.
- DUROFTAL® PE 7171/70SNABG has a shelf life of 365 days.
