DUROFTAL® PE 7189/60SNAMPAC

DUROFTAL® PE 7189/60SNAMPAC by allnex is a linear, oil-free polyester resin. It shows excellent properties under various curing conditions. Coatings based on this product displays excellent adhesion on different metals including aluminum, steel and HDG steel. The final coatings have good anti-corrosion properties and good balance between hardness & flexibility. It is usually crosslinked with HMMM-type resins in ratios of 80-90% polyester and 20-10% melamine resin (calculated on solid binder). The addition of blocked acidic catalysts such as CYCAT® VXK 6395 in concentrations of 2-8% (active p-TSA) calculated on solid melamine resin is recommended to optimize the curing process and the chemical resistance. DUROFTAL® PE 7189/60SNAMPAC is used in coil (rolled metal) coating primers and backcoats. The shelf of this product is 365 days.
