Touch OTAL 2002 by Touch Chem is polyamide-ethylene vinyl acetate wax based co-polymer. Acts as an anti-settling- and orientation agent. It is formed in the mixture solvents of xylene, MPA and butyl acetate. Provides good aluminium and pearlecent pigments orientation control. Exhibits thixotropic behavior and low sheer force. Can be incorporated at any stage of production but ideally can be incorporated after the metallic pigments have been dispersed homogeneously. A low shear force of 6.0 m/s spiracles velocity is needed to ensure its good incorporation. Touch OTAL 2002 is used for metallic finishing coating, especially in road vehicle coating, machinery and plastic paint. Recommended for plastic coating.
