DOWSIL™ 51 Additive distributed by DKSH acts as an anti-blocking agent, slip and mar resistance agent. It is a water-dispersible, ultra-high-molecular-weight polydimethylsiloxane dispersion. It provides water resistance in waterborne systems and reduces coefficient of friction.
  • It imparts levelling, wetting and gloss.
  • It is compatible with acrylic, alkyd, epoxy, nitrocellulose, polyesters, polyurethane and vinyl systems.
  • It is effective at low concentrations.
  • It is suitable for water-based and solvent-based flexographic, gravure ink, water-based lithographic ink and overprint varnish.
  • It is used in water-based overprint varnish and industrial coating applications.
  • It is also used in architectural and decorative applications, printing inks, can, coil and industrial coatings, and automotive paints.
  • DOWSIL™ 51 Additive has a shelf life of 18 months from date of manufacture.
  • It is available in APAC region (New Zealand, Australia, Vietnam, Singapore, Cambodia, Myanmar, Malaysia, China).
