EBECRYL® 436 by allnex is a reactive chlorinated polyester resin diluted 40% with the reactive diluent trimethylolpropane triacrylate (TMPTA). It exhibits good lithographic behavior, pigment wetting properties and fast cure response in ultraviolet light (UV) curable coatings and inks. Cured films of EBECRYL® 436 display good adhesion to metals, plastics and paper. It is recommended for wet lithographic inks for paper, plastics and metals, overprint varnishes and post-formable inks.

- It provides high gloss, and good abrasion and impact resistance.

EBECRYL® 811 by allnex is a UV or EB curable polyester acrylate. Inks made using EBECRYL® 811 obtain excellent adhesion to calendered vinyl, polystyrene, polyolefins and PVC. It offers excellent water balance for printing on non-absorbent substrates along with very low misting. It is recommended for offset inks, specifically for printing credit cards and smart cards. It is also used for printing on plastic signage and banners as well as containers.

Because of the non-polar structure, it reduces emulsification of offset inks with the dampening agent employed. It improves ink transfer and provides prints with good scratch resistance immediately after printing. It improves gloss. It is suitable for letterpress inks for high-speed printing machines. ALPEX® CK 514/PAST is used in screen printing inks for various purposes including the production of printed circuits. In gravure printing, it improves the ink transfer properties and reduces flocculation of pigments. It is designed for packaging coatings. The shelf life is 180 days.

Exhibits good pigment wetting and dispersion characteristics and is useful as a pigment grinding resin in lithographic ink formulations.
