SURFADOL® 420

SURFADOL® 420 by ACME Tech. is a non-ionic, defoamer and low foam wetting agent. It is non-toxic, APEO-, silicone- and solvent-free grade. It reduces dynamic surface tension and improves wetting of low energy or contaminated surfaces. It enhances rapid penetration of absorbent substrates, increases hydrophilicity & solubility. It can be used in conjunction with conventional defoamers to obtain desired foam control while minimizing the fisheyes and pinholes. It prevents smut formation in metalworking fluids. SURFADOL® 420 is recommended for use in waterborne industrial-, internal can-, paper-, wood-, PTFE- & plastic coatings and automotive OEM paints. It is also suitable for use in photogravure inks, inkjets, fountain solutions, overprint varnishes and printing inks. The suggested use level is 0.2-2.0% of total formulation weight. The shelf life of the product is 48 months from the date of manufacture.
