Lightly calcined magnesium oxide. Used as acid absorber. Suits to neutralize acids formed during the processing of elastomers including polychloropren, chlorosulfonated polyethylene, butyl, chlorobutyl, and nitrile rubber as well as neoprene based adhesives. Lightly calcined, high activity magnesium oxide. Used as acid absorber. Suits in applications where dispersion characteristics are important, such as polychloroprene-based adhesives.
