High molecular weight, long chain polyester. Used in self adhesive and electrical tape, seals, gaskets and closures. Acts as a plasticizer. Offers very good resistance to extraction by a variety of solvents, oils and other products. Polyester adipate. Acts as a polymeric plasticizer. It is highly efficient and very easy processing. Compatible with acrylic resins, nitrile, nitrocellulose, polymethyl methacrylate, polyvinyl chloride and vinyl chloride acetate. Offers very low viscosity, excellent cold flex properties and compares favorably with most phthalates as well as trimellitates. Used in gaskets and automotive sealants applications. Mixed dibasic acid polyester. Acts as a highly efficient, very easy processing low viscosity polymeric plasticizer of nominal molecular weight 1200. Provides a good level of resistance both to migration and to extraction by oils as well as hydrocarbons. Compatible with nitrile, nitrocellulose and polyvinyl acetate. It is economical to use and easy to handle. Offers resistance to heat aging and thus ensures a very good retention of physical properties in high temperature PVC compounds. Polyester adipate. Acts as a low to medium viscosity polymeric plasticizer. Its chemical composition and viscosity level have been designed to provide a slightly improved resistance to aging and volatile loss over HALLSTAR DIOPLEX 195. Compatible with nitrile, nitrocellulose and polyvinyl chloride. It combines a high level of general properties with ease of processing. Offers a balance of hydrocarbon extraction resistance as well as polar fluid extraction resistance with good low temperature performance. Polyester adipate. Acts as a low viscosity polymeric plasticizer. It is biodegradable (80.6%) according to OECD301B (requiring products to show >60% biodegradation in 28 days). Compatible with polyvinyl chloride (PVC). Offers good heat stability, water resistance and permanence. Polyester sebacate. Acts as a high molecular weight polymeric plasticizer. Compatible with nitrile and polyvinyl chloride. In DIOPLEX® 100 good heat resistance is achieved above and beyond that of adipic acid based products. It is used where properties of permanence are absolutely essential and where heat stability is of particular importance. Also used in high temperature applications. Polyester adipate. Acts as an excellent general-purpose plasticizer. Compatible with polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and nitrile. Offers a good combination of permanence to polar and non-polar mediums which makes it well suited for general use plastisol applications. Also used in gaskets applications.
