Lightly calcined magnesium oxide. Used as acid absorber. Suits to neutralize acids formed during the processing of elastomers including polychloropren, chlorosulfonated polyethylene, butyl, chlorobutyl, and nitrile rubber as well as neoprene based adhesives.
