OPTIGEL® -WA by BYK acts as a rheology modifier based on an activated phyllosilicate for aqueous systems. It improves processability and storage stability as it is highly effective at preventing solids settling. It is inorganic and stable to diluted acids and bases. <br> <ul style="padding-left: 40px;">
<li> It improves slip behavior, anti-sagging properties and ridge formation. </li>
<li> It is suitable for pH neutral, acidic, and basic adhesives and sealants. </li>
<li> It is recommended for floor adhesives, acrylate sealants, wood glues and dispersion adhesives. </li>
<li> The recommended dosage level is 0.5 to 2% based upon the total formulation. </li>
<li> It has a shelf life of 12 months. </li></ul> Hydrophilic bentonite. Acts as a gellant-thickening agent. It is inorganic and stable in diluted acids and bases. It can withstand oxidation or microbial degradation. It is is compatible with most emulsions, pigments or extenders. It has high swelling capacity. It reduces sagging.
