GENIOPLAST® PELLET S

by Wacker

GENIOPLAST® PELLET S by Wacker is a silicone gum formulation with an outstanding high load of ultrahigh molecular weight siloxane polymer. Acts as a polymeric processing aid. It imparts processing improvements and modification of surface characteristics. It shows improved flow including less extruder torque, less extruder, die pressure, reduction of melt viscosity and better mold filling.

It offers lower coefficient of friction and greater mar- & abrasion- resistance.

It also improves burning characteristics of polyolefins.

It is designed for the compounding and masterbatch industry.

Suitable for polyolefin-, engineering plastics- and TPE- compounds.

GENIOPLAST® PELLET S is used in cable sheaths & molded parts for automotive interiors, such as dashboards and door panels.

The recommended dosage is 0.1-5%.

GENIOPLAST® Fluid FR

by Wacker

GENIOPLAST® Fluid FR by Wacker is a high viscosity silicone. Used in wire and cable manufacturing and plastic molding. Offers improved flame retardant properties. Provides improved processing and melt flow and improvement of mechanical properties e.g. impact strength.

GENIOPLAST® PP 20A08

by Wacker

GENIOPLAST® PP 20A08 by Wacker is a pelletized formulation containing 20% of a functional silicone constituent dispersed in polypropylene. Acts as a processing aid. It does not migrate due to its high molecular weight. When added to filled thermoplastic polymer systems at processing and flow of the resin is improved, including less extruder torque, less extruder dies pressure and faster throughput. The surface quality of extruded parts is also improved. GENIOPLAST® PP 20A08 is compatible with filled thermoplastic polyolefin compounds, wood polymer composite pellets and profiles. Recommended dosage is 0.5% to 2%.

GENIOPLAST® PP50S12

by Wacker

GENIOPLAST® PP50S12 by Wacker is a silicone-additive masterbatch for thermoplastic compounding. It is pelletized and contains 50% non-reactive, ultra-high molecular weight silicone gum dispersed in polypropylene homopolymer.

It improves scratch resistance.

It imparts soft touch, non-sticky, non-blooming surface properties and does not contribute to fogging.

It is used in PP based automotive interiors components such as dashboards, door trim and trunk trim panels, pillar trim, and center consoles.

The recommended dosage level of GENIOPLAST® PP50S12 is 1-3%.

GENIOPLAST® Pellet P

by Wacker

Pelletized silicone gum. Used as an additive in thermoplastic systems. Imparts processing improvements and modification of surface characteristics.

GENIOPLAST® Pellet 345

by Wacker

GENIOPLAST® Pellet 345 by Wacker is a high performance, silicone copolymer for compounding of thermoplastic polyurethanes (TPU). Provides resistance against scratch, abrasion and contamination. It disperses very finely and homogeneously throughout the polyurethane matrix. It becomes physically bound to the matrix and is therefore unable to migrate. It lowers the hardness of TPUs, while boosting their elasticity and surface smoothness. The surface become more resistant to contamination by foodstuffs and cosmetics with an addition level of 3-5%. In Europe, GENIOPLAST® Pellet 345 is authorized for food-contact applications.

GENIOPLAST® Gum

by Wacker

Ultra-high molecular weight polydimethyl siloxane (silicone gum). Acts as a flame retardant and as a processing aid. Offers improved surface properties such as release, lubricity, slip and improved surface gloss. Provides lower coefficient of friction and greater mar and abrasion resistance. Used for thermoplastics.

GENIOPLAST® HDPE 20A03

by Wacker

GENIOPLAST® HDPE 20A03 by Wacker is a pelletized formulation containing 20% of a functional silicone constituent dispersed in HDPE. Acts as a processing aid. It does not migrate due to its high molecular weight. When added to filled thermoplastic polymer systems at processing and flow of the resin is improved, including less extruder torque, less extruder die pressure and faster throughput. The surface quality of extruded parts is also improved. It is compatible with filled thermoplastic polyolefin compounds, wood polymer composite pellets and profiles. GENIOPLAST® HDPE 20A03 recommended dosage is 0.5% to 2%.
