GENIOPLAST® PP50S12 by Wacker is a silicone-additive masterbatch for thermoplastic compounding. It is pelletized and contains 50% non-reactive, ultra-high molecular weight silicone gum dispersed in polypropylene homopolymer.
- It improves scratch resistance.
- It imparts soft touch, non-sticky, non-blooming surface properties and does not contribute to fogging.
- It is used in PP based automotive interiors components such as dashboards, door trim and trunk trim panels, pillar trim, and center consoles.
- The recommended dosage level of GENIOPLAST® PP50S12 is 1-3%.
