LOTADER® P3 3200 by SK Functional Polymer is random terpolymer of ethylene, acrylic ester and maleic anhydride in powder. Acts as an adhesion promoter and a coupling agent. Exhibits very good adhesion on epoxy resin and polyethylene. LOTADER® P3 3200 possesses very good mechanical properties and is very easy to process. LOTADER® 3430 by SK Functional Polymer is a random ethylene-methyl acrylate-maleic anhydride terpolymer. It acts as an adhesion promoter on substrates like aluminum, paper, and unprimed polyester films. Used as tie layer in flexible packaging, as an impact modifier of polyamide 6 and 6,6 and as coupling agent in zero halogen – low smoke compound for cables. Offers very good mechanical properties and good thermal stability. LOTADER® 3430 shows compatibility with polyamides, polyethylene and good adhesion on aluminum, polyamide and paper. LOTADER® 5500 by SK Functional Polymer is terpolymer of ethylene (E), ethyl acrylate (EA) and maleic anhydride (MAH). Acts as an adhesion promoter on various substrates. Shows compatibility with LDPE in all proportions, and with almost all other ethylene copolymers. Offers softness and polarity, while keeping high thermal stability during processing. Exhibits very versatile adhesive properties to polar and non polar substrates and to molten polymers. LOTADER® 5500 is mainly used as pure or in blends with polyolefins as thermoadhesive films or adhesives. LOTADER® AX8700 by SK Functional Polymer is a reactive random terpolymer of ethylene, butyl acrylate and glycidyl methacrylate (epoxide function). Acts as an impact modifier, compatibilizer, adhesion promoter and modifier for bitumen applications. Produced by high-pressure polymerization process. It is reactive with -OH, -COOH, -NH<sub>2</sub>, and -SH chemical groups. Offers good adhesion to metallic surface, good thermal stability, and flexibility. LOTADER® AX8700 is compatible with thermoplastic polyesters (PBT/PET/PC) & their alloys (e.g. PC/PBT), tie layer of polyphenylene sulfides (PPS), and thermoplastic polyesters/polyolefins blends (PET/PO, PBT/PO). It is recommended for binders or tie layers in multilayer structures for the packaging industry, pipeline coatings, and cables. Is designed for use in coextrusion and extrusion. The shelf life of the grade is two years from the date of delivery, in unopened packaging. LOTADER® AX8820 is a random copolymer of ethylene and glycidyl methacrylate, polymerized by high pressure autoclave process. Acts as an impact modifier. It is especially designed for high fluidity PPS enabling easier injection molding. LOTADER® AX8820 GMA content has been optimized to achieve good impact modification of PPS, while maintaining a higher fluidity than with the existing grades of LOTADER® AX modifiers. Its melt viscosity has been increased to better match the rheology of the PPS matrix. It is compatible with PPS, crosslinkable polyolefinic compounds, PBT as well as for bitumen modification. PPS compounds possess high temperature resistance and high stiffness thermoplastics mainly used in demanding applications, such as under-the-hood automotive and E&E. LOTADER® AX8930 by SK Functional Polymer is a terpolymer of ethylene, methyl acrylate and glycidyl methacrylate (epoxide function) produced by high-pressure polymerization process. Acts as an impact modifier, flexibilizer, adhesion promoter and compatibilizer. Demonstrates flexibilization and tie layer of polyphenylene sulfides (PPS). Exhibits high fluidity, adhesion to metallic surface, good thermal stability and reactivity with -OH, -COOH, -NH<sub>2</sub> and -SH. It is compatible with PET, PBT, PPS, PE, PC alloy, PCT, polyolefins blends (PET/PO, PBT/PO) and thermoplastic polyesters. LOTADER® AX8930 is used in injection molding applications. Terpolymer of ethylene (E), butyl acrylate (BA) and maleic anhydride (MAH). Acts as an adhesion promoter on substrates like aluminium and paper. Used as a tie layer in flexible packaging; as an impact modifier of polyamide 6 and 6,6 and as a coupling agent in zero halogen - low smoke compound for cables. Offers very good mechanical properties and good thermal stability. Shows compatibility with polyamides, polyethylenes and good adhesion on aluminum, paper. Exhibits very good processability: high speed extrusion and draw ratio, low neck-in. LOTADER® AX8750 by SK Functional Polymer is a terpolymer of ethylene, butyl acrylate and glycidyl methacrylate (epoxide function) produced by high-pressure polymerization process. Acts as an impact modifier, adhesion promoter and compatibilizer. Demonstrates flexibilization and tie layer of polyphenylene sulfides (PPS). Exhibits high fluidity, adhesion to metallic surface, good thermal stability and reactivity with -OH, -COOH, -NH<sub>2</sub> and -SH. Acts as an additive (toughener) in order to improve the impact strength of polyamide 6. Used as a compatibilizer for PA/PO blends. Also used as an impact modifier. Shows compatibility with LDPE in all proportions, and with almost all other ethylene copolymers.
