Terpolymer of ethylene (E), butyl acrylate (BA) and maleic anhydride (MAH). Acts as an adhesion promoter on substrates like aluminium and paper. Used as a tie layer in flexible packaging; as an impact modifier of polyamide 6 and 6,6 and as a coupling agent in zero halogen - low smoke compound for cables. Offers very good mechanical properties and good thermal stability. Shows compatibility with polyamides, polyethylenes and good adhesion on aluminum, paper. Exhibits very good processability: high speed extrusion and draw ratio, low neck-in.
