NORYL™ SA120 is a low molecular weight polymer based on polyphenylene ether(PPE). It is intended for use as an additive in a variety of materials like styrene-based rubbers and block copolymers, epoxies, phenolics, polyurethanes and unsaturated polyesters. Adding NORYL™ SA120 to these systems may improve thermal performance (glass transition temperature), adhesion at elevated temperatures, toughness, dimensional stability, chemical resistance to acids and bases, moisture absorption, and electrical properties (dielectric constant, dissipation factor). It is available in Asia. NORYL™ PPE POWDERS + CONCENTRATES 640 is a medium-high molecular weight polymer based on polyphenylene ether (PPE). This material is intended for use as an additive or a building block in a variety of thermoplastics and thermoplastic elastomers such as styrenic block copolymers. NORYL™ PPE POWDERS + CONCENTRATES 640 can be used to improve properties (i.e. heat distortion and creep resistance). It is hydrolytically stable and non-hydroscopic (typically less than 0.2% water uptake). The polymer is soluble in common organic solvents like toluene, chloroform, and THF. It complies with the FDA regulation 21CFR 177.2460 and EU Directive 2002/72/EC. It is available in Asia. NORYL™ SA90 is a low molecular weight bi-functional oligomer with increased hydroxyl functionality based on polyphenylene ether (PPE). It can be used as a reactive component in epoxy, cyanate ester, and urethane thermosets in electronics and composites applications. It has outstanding solubility in toluene & methyl ethyl ketone(MEK) and a low solution viscosity. Targeted application areas include enhancing the performance (e.g. thermal, dielectric, mechanical, flame retardancy, and moisture uptake properties) of epoxy resins used in electronic packaging which include PCB laminates, copper clad laminates, epoxy prepregs as well as various other composites applications. NORYL™ SA90 can also be blended with thermoplastic elastomers and cured elastomers to enhance properties. It is available in Asia. NORYL™ Resin 6850H by SABIC is polyphenylene ether resin concentrate with high impact polystyrene. It has high thermal resistance. It is optimized for blending with polystyrene resins. It has potential use in sheet/foil extrusion, food packaging (microwavable), additive in thermoplastics and thermoplastic elastomers, EPS. NORYL™ Resin 6850H is approved for use in contact with foodstuffs according to US and European food contact regulations. NORYL™ Resin 6390H by SABIC is polyphenylene ether resin concentrate with polystyrene. It improves properties like heat distortion and creep resistance. It has a thermal HDT resistance of 170°C. It is optimized for blending with high-impact polystyrene (HIPS) and general-purpose polystyrene (GPPS). Used as an additive or as a building block in a variety of thermoplastics and thermoplastic elastomer like styrenics block copolymers. It has potential use in sheet/foil extrusion, food packaging, additive in thermoplastics and thermoplastic elastomers, EPS. NORYL™ Resin 6390H is approved for use in contact with foodstuffs. NORYL™ AP2001G by SABIC is a low molecular weight di-functional hydroxyl-terminated polyol based on polyphenylene ether (PPE). Designed for cast polyurethane (PU) applications. It improves strain modulus, elongation and adhesion to steel. It maintains physical properties at elevated temperatures and after humid aging. It provides resistance to oils, moisture, abrasion, tearing and heat, helping cast PU parts withstand extreme conditions and potentially lengthen their life. It improves toughness, increases tensile strength and reduces abrasion & the absorption of either hydraulic oil or water. Potential applications include mining drill bits, screens and protective pipe liners for slurry transport, and components for hydraulic, robotic and conveying equipment. NORYL™ AP2001G is suitable for use in wheels, casters, and rollers. It can help end-users to avoid costly downtime through the improved durability of parts and equipment. It can give processors greater flexibility and more precise dimensional control while boosting productivity by extending polyurethane's pot life and slowing its reactivity.
