Polyphenylene ether resin concentrate with polystyrene. It improves properties like heat distortion and creep resistance. It has a thermal HDT resistance of 170°C. It is optimized for blending with high-impact polystyrene (HIPS) and general-purpose polystyrene (GPPS). Used as an additive or as a building block in a variety of thermoplastics and thermoplastic elastomer like styrenics block copolymers. It has potential use in sheet/foil extrusion, food packaging, additive in thermoplastics and thermoplastic elastomers, EPS. It is approved for use in contact with foodstuffs.
