ULTEM™ SU3102P by SABIC is a reactive oligomer, a novel toughening agent for thermoset composites used in primary and secondary aerospace structures such as wings, fuselage frames, spoilers and interior components.<br><ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>This new polyetherimide (PEI) oligomer delivers unmatched thermoset formulation freedom without impacting processability. </li><li> It maintains low formulation viscosity, supporting consistent and efficient processing that helps reduce cycle time.</li><li>It delivers strength, inherent flame retardance, high heat and chemical resistance, and a low coefficient of thermal expansion (CTE).</li><li>ULTEM™ SU3102P also improves toughness-stiffness balance by up to 140 percent.</li> <li>It can be dropped into existing manufacturing processes and is compatible with a wide range of thermoset resin systems.</li> <li>It creates lighter, thinner and tougher composite structures, increase manufacturing efficiency and cut emissions.</li> <li>Enhanced part durability can reduce maintenance time and costs and increase air safety.</li></ul>

ULTEM™ Resin 1000 by SABIC is an amorphous, transparent polyetherimide (PEI) plastic offering a glass transition temperature (Tg) of 217°C. This inherently flame retardant resin has UL94 V0, V2 and 5VA ratings and is RoHS compliant. It is an unreinforced general purpose grade offering high heat resistance, high strength and modulus and broad chemical resistance up to high temperatures. ULTEM™ Resin 1000 is used in automotive, building & construction, consumer, electrical & electronics, hydrocarbon & energy, industrial, mass transportation and packaging. It is available in Asia.
