NORYL™ AP2001G

NORYL™ AP2001G by SABIC is a low molecular weight di-functional hydroxyl-terminated polyol based on polyphenylene ether (PPE). Designed for cast polyurethane (PU) applications. It improves strain modulus, elongation and adhesion to steel. It maintains physical properties at elevated temperatures and after humid aging. It provides resistance to oils, moisture, abrasion, tearing and heat, helping cast PU parts withstand extreme conditions and potentially lengthen their life. It improves toughness, increases tensile strength and reduces abrasion & the absorption of either hydraulic oil or water. Potential applications include mining drill bits, screens and protective pipe liners for slurry transport, and components for hydraulic, robotic and conveying equipment. NORYL™ AP2001G is suitable for use in wheels, casters, and rollers. It can help end-users to avoid costly downtime through the improved durability of parts and equipment.
