Anti UV masterbatch containing blend of polymeric HALS additives in a MFI 7 LDPE carrier. It contains additives with very low volatility and can be used in both cast and blown film processes. It can be used with all types polyolefines LDPE, LLDPE, EVA and other copolymers, and also PP. Addition of filler ( kaolin, titanium oxide …) can modify the ageing characteristics.
Natural silica (10%) and erucamide (5%) based antiblocking/slip masterbatch in a LDPE carrier resin (MI7). This masterbatch is used to reduce the coefficient of friction between 2 polyethylene films. AB SL PE 10N-ER5 is compatible with all grades of PE and EVA. This masterbatch can also give some anti-static effect. It should not be used in cling film formulations containing polybutene. Erucamide is food-approved for a number of applications according to FDA regulations and EEC directives. Typical addition rates are between 1-3%
ST PP 7 by Polytechs is a stiffening masterbatch used in blends with conventional polypropylene. Offers high stiffness, very good deadfold characteristics, twist retention and very good optical properties. Provides better dimensional stability, improved gas and humidity barrier properties as well as improved sealability.ST PP 7 is used for snack food packaging, cigarette packaging and twist wrap for sweets. ST PP 7 is suitable for dilution into most of the PP resins generally recommended for production of clear BOPP films. Typical addition levels of ST PP 7 are approx. 5-15% in the core layer for food and cigarette packaging, depending on the required film quality. To get the twist wrap packaging for sweets, it is recommended to add a minimum of 17% ST PP 7. ST PP 7 is suitable for food contact applications according to the guides outlined by the FDA 177.1520.
