ST PP 7 by Polytechs is a stiffening masterbatch used in blends with conventional polypropylene. Offers high stiffness, very good deadfold characteristics, twist retention and very good optical properties. Provides better dimensional stability, improved gas and humidity barrier properties as well as improved sealability.ST PP 7 is used for snack food packaging, cigarette packaging and twist wrap for sweets. ST PP 7 is suitable for dilution into most of the PP resins generally recommended for production of clear BOPP films. Typical addition levels of ST PP 7 are approx. 5-15% in the core layer for food and cigarette packaging, depending on the required film quality. To get the twist wrap packaging for sweets, it is recommended to add a minimum of 17% ST PP 7. ST PP 7 is suitable for food contact applications according to the guides outlined by the FDA 177.1520.

Typical addition levels of ST PP 5 are approx. 12-24% in the core layer for food and cigarette packaging, depending on the required film quality. To get the twist wrap packaging for sweets, it is recommended to add a minimum of 32% ST PP 5. ST PP 5 complies with major food contact regulations.

It offers high stiffness, very good deadfold characteristics, twist retention and very good optical properties. It provides better dimensional stability, improved gas and humidity barrier properties as well as improved sealability. It is used for snack food packaging, cigarette packaging and twist wrap for sweets. It is suitable for dilution into most of the polypropylen (PP) resins generally recommended for production of clear BOPP films. Typical addition levels of ST PP 4 are approximately 15-30% in the core layer for food and cigarette packaging, depending on the required film quality. To get the twist wrap packaging for sweets, it is recommended to add a minimum of 40% ST PP 4. ST PP 4 complies with major food contact regulations.
