Benefos® 1618 by Mayzo is 2,4,8,10-Tetraoxa-3,9-diphosphaspiro[5.5]undecane, 3,9-bis(octadecyloxy). Acts as an antioxidant. It also contributes to the UV stability of polyolefins. Helps prevent discoloration of polymers during extrusion and molding operations, exhibits high performance at low loading levels, reduces discoloration in polymers containing pigments such as titanium dioxide, enhances the light stability of polyolefins when used with light stabilizers, is non-discoloring and shows low volatility, FDA cleared for use in olefin polymers, EVA, and polystyrene. Benefos® 1618 is compatible with polyolefins, polyesters, styrenic polymers, engineering plastics, elastomers. It has a shelf life of 2 years. Recommended dosage is 0.05-0.5% depending on the substrate, processing conditions, and other performance requirements. Benefos® 1626 by Mayzo is 2,4,8,10-T etraoxa-3,9-diphosphaspiro[5.5]undecane, 3,9-bis[2,4-bis(1,1-dimethylethyl)phenoxy]. Acts as an antioxidant. Helps extends performance of primary antioxidants (i.e. BNX 1010 or BNX 1076), protects polymers from chain scission and cross-linking during melt processing, prevents discoloration of polymers during melt processing, improves long-term thermal stability, Exhibits synergism when used with light stabilizers such as benzophenones and benzotriazoles, FDA cleared for use in polyolefins, PVC, and polycarbonate. Benefos® 1626 is compatible with polyethylene, polypropylene, as well as in olefin copolymers such as EVA. Also for PVC, engineering plastics, polyurethanes, styrenic polymers and elastomers. It has a shelf life of 2 years. Recommended dosage is between 0.02% and 0.2% in polyolefins and between 0.05% and 0.25% in other substrates. Benefos® 1680 by Mayzo is phenol, 2,4-bis(1,1-dimethylethyl)-, 1,1',1''-phosphite. Acts as an antioxidant. Helps extends performance of phenolic primary antioxidants (for example BNX 1010, BNX 1076), provides excellent melt stability and color control in polyolefins during processing, highly compatible with a wide range of organic substrates, protects polymers from chain scission and crosslinking, resistant to hydrolysis, compatible with other stabilizers and additives, exhibits low volatility and extensive FDA clearances. Benefos® 1680 is compatible with polyethylene, polypropylene, polybutene, and in olefin copolymers such as EVA. Also polyamides, polycarbonates, polyesters, polyurethanes, styrenic polymers and elastomers. It has a shelf life of 2 years. Recommended dosage is between 0.02% and 0.2% in polyolefins and between 0.05% and 0.25% in other substrates.
