MPM® 1113 by Mayzo is a beta nucleant masterbatch in polypropylene homopolymer carrier resin. It broadens the processing window for thin gauge thermoforming, and produces thermoformed containers with more uniform material distribution, improved crush strength & rigidity with lower sidewall density. It can be added to non-nucleated polypropylene polymers and is particularly effective in random and impact copolymers, in order to produce high levels of beta phase crystallinity. When extruded sheets are stretched in the solid state to produce oriented films, these films become micro voided, appear white and opaque, and shows reduction in density. MPM® 1113 offers improved impact strength, long term creep performance as well as excellent chemical resistance in PP pressure pipe applications. Recommended addition level is 0.20% to 2.0%. It is FDA approved. MPM® 1112 by Mayzo is a pelletized masterbatch with a high performance proprietary beta nucleant formulation in a polypropylene homopolymer resin. It produces high level beta phase crystallinity in films, extruded sheets, and injection molded parts when added in non-nucleated polypropylene polymers including homopolymers, random copolymers, and impact copolymers. It broadens the processing window for thin gauge thermoforming, and produces thermoformed containers with more uniform material distribution and improved crush strength, rigidity, with lower sidewall density. When extruded sheets are stretched in the solid state to produce oriented films, these films become micro voided, appear white and opaque, and shows reduction in density. Application areas for beta nucleated polypropylene include opaque/matte finish-oriented film, breathable, microporous film, opaque or translucent injection molded parts and opaque thermoformed parts. Recommended addition level is 1.0% to 2.0%. MPM® 1112 is approved by FDA. MPM® 1110 by Mayzo is a pelletized masterbatch containing a high performance
proprietary beta nucleant formulation in a polypropylene homopolymer
resin. It is suitable for thick extruded applications that are gray or black colored such as geogrids. It can be added to non-nucleated and some pigmented polypropylene polymers including homopolymers, random copolymers, and impact copolymers, in order to produce high levels of beta phase crystallinity in extruded sheets, films, and pipes, as well as injection molded parts. It improves the strength and ductility of injection molded or extruded polypropylene. It offers long term creep and chemical resistance in drainage pipe applications. MPM® 1110 can also be used for extruded sheet that is used to thermoform PP products. Recommended addition level is 0.20% to 1.0% for non-nucleated polypropylene resin. It is approved by FDA. MPM® 2000 by Mayzo is beta nucleating masterbatch used in PP homopolymers for thermoformed, injection molded and extruded applications. It is designed to be used with non-nucleated and certain alpha-nucleated polypropylene polymers including heterophasic impact copolymers and homopolymers, to produce high levels of beta phase crystallinity in injection molded parts. It offers higher impact strength and ductility, with very little reduction in modulus or tensile strength. It produces breathability in BOPP films. MPM® 2000 is used in carpet backing tapes, extruded sheets, injection molding, thermoforming, blow molding, glass filled composites, blown film, oriented film, breathable film, geogrids, mineral, and rotomolding. The recommended usage level is 0.25% to 2.0%. MPM® 2000 is FDA and EU approved for food contact applications.
