Silanogran M by Kettlitz Chemie is used for all elastomers and rubber compounds. Oligomeric alkyl groups containing triethoxyvinylsilane. Used for rubber compounds for the cable industry (high voltage cables). Offers very good influence on the electrical properties. Coupling agent for peroxide cured rubber compounds which contain silica, clay or aluminium hydroxide as fillers.
Active silane content : 50 %.
Used to improve processability and physical properties of rubber vulcanizates.
In compounds which are used for cable isolation, applied as hydrophobing agent.
Provides improvements on physical, ageing and electrical properties of rubber compounds. Coupling agent for sulphur cured rubber compounds.
Provides improvement of mixing properties e. g. reduction in Mooney viscosity, better processability when mixing, calendering and extruding.
Influences the physical-mechanical datas of the vulcanizates favourably. Provides a highest effectiveness in EPDM compounds containing precipitated silica resp. silicate as fillers.
Improvement of the physical properties in any other vulcanized rubber.
Provides a shorter curing time at equal scorch time, a better processability of the uncured compounds, an increase of tensile strength, modulous and tear resistance, a decrease of abrasion, a minimized water absorption i.e. better electrical properties of cable compounds, an increase of dynamic properties. Coupling agent for sulphur cured rubber compounds.
Provides improvement of mixing properties e. g. reduction in Mooney viscosity, better processability when mixing, calendering and extruding.
Influences the physical-mechanical datas of the vulcanizates favourably.
