Kezadol GR DAB by Kettlitz Chemie is a dessicant which can be used for the production of rubber compounds coming into contact with food. Kezadol GR by Kettlitz Chemie is a soft 81.5% calcium oxide. It is coated with special dispersing agent. Used as a desiccant in rubber compounds which are cured on micro-wave systems, LCM and hot air. It is also used as acid absorber. Kezadol GR helps to decrease the formation of nitrosamines. Desiccant in rubber compounds which are cured pressureless (micro-wave systems, LCM, hot air or fluid bed).
Absorption of moisture which is present in all rubber chemicals, especially fillers.
Possibility to use Kezadol GR as an acid absorber e g. in systems containing chlorine.
Can also be used in order to prevent blisters and porosity in the following rubber processes:
- Low pressure curing in the cable industry
- In compounds cured in heat transfer fluids
- In cases where the influence of humidity in rubber compounds should be suppressed or eliminated
