StarRov® 089 2400 by Johns Manville is an E-glass fiber coated with silane based sizing. StarRov® 089 2400 roving is manufactured by direct winding of continuous glass fibers of defined diameter into a cylindrical roving package. It is designed for weaving processes and is easy to unwind with low fuzz generation during processing, with excellent wet out by the matrix styrene-free resin and demonstrates superior strength (ILSS) characteristics. Exhibits improved weight distribution (tex control) and is a solution for increased productivity in wind blade processing.
