ThermoFlow® 674 by Johns Manville is chopped E glass fibers coated with silane-based sizing. It exhibits excellent matrix bonding, excellent bulk density and flow characteristics that enable it to be fed into the extruder generating low fuzz. Shows excellent mechanical properties, exceptional strand integrity, clean feeding, and uniform fiber distribution when used in glass reinforced polyamides PA6 and PA6.6. It is suitable for reinforcing plastics in food contact applications. ThermoFlow® 674 complies with Commission Regulation (EU) Nr. 10/2011 of 14 Jan 2011 on plastic material and articles intended to come into contact with food. Imparts excellent matrix bonding that provides superior properties in PBT and PET. Recommended for molding only. Compatible with polyesters like PET and PBT resins.
