StarRov® 089 4800 by Johns Manville is an E-glass fiber coated with silane based sizing. It is manufactured by direct winding of continuous glass fibers of defined diameter into a cylindrical roving package. It is designed for weaving processes and is easy to unwind with low fuzz generation during processing, with excellent wet out by the matrix styrene-free resin and demonstrates superior strength (ILSS) characteristics. StarRov® 089 4800 roving exhibits improved weight distribution (tex control) and is a solution for increased productivity in wind blade processing. It is characterized by a soft silane sizing compatible with polyester\vinyl ester styrene-free resins. Compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards.
