MultiStar® 566 2400 35 by Johns Manville is an E-glass fiber roving. It is manufactured with continuous glass fibers of defined diameter into a cylindrical roving package with a sizing suitable for chopping and designed for excellent performance in composite panel production. Provides very good fiber distribution and resin translucency for panel systems. Offers good unwinding and good processing for panel fabrication. ThermoFlow® 674 by Johns Manville is chopped E glass fibers coated with silane-based sizing. It exhibits excellent matrix bonding, excellent bulk density and flow characteristics that enable it to be fed into the extruder generating low fuzz. Shows excellent mechanical properties, exceptional strand integrity, clean feeding, and uniform fiber distribution when used in glass reinforced polyamides PA6 and PA6.6. It is suitable for reinforcing plastics in food contact applications. ThermoFlow® 674 complies with Commission Regulation (EU) Nr. 10/2011 of 14 Jan 2011 on plastic material and articles intended to come into contact with food.
StarRov® 089 2400 by Johns Manville is an E-glass fiber coated with silane based sizing. StarRov® 089 2400 roving is manufactured by direct winding of continuous glass fibers of defined diameter into a cylindrical roving package. It is designed for weaving processes and is easy to unwind with low fuzz generation during processing, with excellent wet out by the matrix styrene-free resin and demonstrates superior strength (ILSS) characteristics. Exhibits improved weight distribution (tex control) and is a solution for increased productivity in wind blade processing. It is characterized by a soft silane sizing compatible with polyester\vinyl ester styrene-free resins. Compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards.
