Finanox 10 by Fine Organics is a liquid thioester-based secondary antioxidant. Offers excellent color, processing and aging stability when used in conjunction with primary antioxidants in SBR and ABS lattices. It is a low cost additive which shows good compatibility. It works as an effective stabilizer in polyolefins, ABS, petroleum lubricants and other specialty systems such as SBR latex compositions. Finanox 10 is also recommended in thermoset polyester. In polyethylene, polypropylene, synthetic rubber and rubber containing polymers like ABS/HIPS, it also reinforces and extends effectiveness of primary antioxidants. Acts as a secondary antioxidant. Is particularly decomposes hydroperoxides, formed by auto-oxidation of polymers and neutralizes them. Used in polyolefins and other polymers requiring long term heat ageing properties. It is often used as synergist in combination with phenolic antioxidants. Has been approved for use in some food packaging applications. It is mainly used in combination with phenolic antioxidants in PE, PP, ABS, polyester, polyamides, acetals, nylon 6/66, PET/PBT, PC, PS. Is mainly used in automotives, appliances, containers, PE films, tape, injection & rotational molding, metallocene, PP injection molding, TPO, ABS.
