10% synthetic silica in PP carrier resin. Acts as an antiblock agent. Gives excellent optical properties with high transparency of films. Also offers excellent dispersion. Allows easy unwinding of bags and sachets. Prevents blocking during wind-up and facilitates the settling of film rolls. Can be used in both cast and blown film processes. It can only be added to skin layers only. Typical addition rates are between 2-4%. Compliant with FDA food contact approval. 20% synthetic silica in LDPE carrier resin. Acts as an antiblock agent. The type of silica used gives excellent surface friction to the films without adversely affecting film transparency. Also provides excellent optical properties. It prevents blocking of films during wind-up and allows easy opening of bags and sachets. It is compatible with PE. Suitable for blown and cast film processes for LDPE and LLDPE. Can be used in food contact applications. Recommended dosage rate lies between 1-2.5%.
