10% synthetic silica in PP carrier resin. Acts as an antiblock agent. Gives excellent optical properties with high transparency of films. Also offers excellent dispersion. Allows easy unwinding of bags and sachets. Prevents blocking during wind-up and facilitates the settling of film rolls. Can be used in both cast and blown film processes. It can only be added to skin layers only. Typical addition rates are between 2-4%. Compliant with FDA food contact approval.
