Polycat® 140

by Evonik

Polycat® 140 by Evonik is a low-emissive amine catalyst for low density, water blown, open-cell spray polyurethane foam (SPF). This is a reactive catalyst and more selective for the water-isocyanate blowing reaction. It can replace standard blowing catalysts based on BDMAEE such as Dabco® BL-11 and Dabco® BL-19 catalysts. It can be used in combination with Polycat® 141 or Polycat® 142 catalysts to effectively replace emissive catalyst packages based on BDMAEE [bis(dimethylaminoethyl)ether]. Due to its chemical structure, it can react into the foam, significantly reducing off-gassing over time and amine-related odor when used in combination with Polycat® 31, Polycat® 141 or Polycat® 142 catalysts. A modest increase in use level is typically required when using this grade compared to BDMAEE based catalysts. Polycat® 140 can be used in water blown, low-density spray polyurethane foam. It has a shelf life of 24 months.

Polycat® 203

by Evonik

Polycat® 203 by Evonik is low water containing amine-based catalyst with outstanding stability in formulations that contain low GWP blowing agents. In comparison to conventional catalysts, it is a reactive amine catalyst and can facilitate a reduction in amine emissions during spraying. Possesses excellent system stability with HFCO-1233zd and fast initial reaction. It has low water content. Used in all polyether, polyester and polyether/polyester-based PUR and PUR/PIR formulations, spray foams, continuous and discontinuous insulation panels (flexible and metal-faced), integral skin formulations. It has a recommended usage level of 2.0 to 4.5 pph polyol. Polycat® 203 has a shelf life of 24 months.

Polycat® 9

by Evonik

Polycat® 9 by Evonik is a tertiary amine-based catalyst. It provides a balanced promotion of the urethane and urea reactions flexible as well as rigid foam applications. It acts as a co-catalyst with a strong blow and gel amine catalysts to balance the reaction.

Polycat® 9 offers a smooth rise profile.

It provides low odor, low vapor pressure and reduced onion skinning.

It possesses improved odor and productivity compared with Polycat® 8 catalyst.

It designed for insulation foams, including spray, rigid bunstock, board laminate and refrigeration formulations.

It is recommended for microcellular foams such as shoe sole formulations and as a co-catalyst in semiflexible and flexible molded applications.

Polycat® 41

by Evonik

Polycat® 41 by Evonik is a moderately active trimerization catalyst. It offers very good blowing capability. It possesses very good performance in water co-blown rigid systems. Polycat® 41 is used in a wide variety of rigid polyurethane and polyisocyanurate foam and non-foam applications.

Polycat® 15

by Evonik

Polycat® 15 by Evonik is a non-emissive balanced amine catalyst. It promotes the surface cure/ reduces skinning property and improved surface appearance. It improves the surface cure in flexible molded systems. Due to its reactive hydrogen, it readily reacts into the polymer matrix.

It has a slight selectivity towards the urea (isocyanate-water) reaction.

It can be used in rigid polyurethane systems where a smooth reaction profile is required.

Polycat® 15 is used in flexible and semi-flexible molded as well as rigid foam applications.

Polycat® 12

by Evonik

Polycat® 12 by Evonik acts as a co-catalyst to improve cure. It is n-methyldicyclohexylamine suitable for rigid foam applications.

Polycat® 58

by Evonik

Polycat® 58 by Evonik is amine based tertiary catalyst. It is used in flexible molded foam applications as a co-catalyst in combination with standard catalysts like Dabco® 33-LV and Dabco® BL-11, where additional skin curing is required to facilitate demolding and to improve skin appearance. It is suitable for a cold cure and hot cure flexible molded polyurethane foam systems. Polycat® 58 provides good surface cure.

Polycat® 33

by Evonik

Polycat® 33 by Evonik is a liquid tertiary amine-based catalyst. It is used for insulation foams(spray, board laminate and refrigeration) and rigid formulations for furniture frame and decorative parts manufacture.

Polycat® 201

by Evonik

Polycat® 201 by Evonik is an amine-based catalyst for use with low GWP blowing agents. It is a reactive amine catalyst, in comparison to conventional catalysts it facilitates for reduced amine emissions during spraying. Possesses excellent system stability with HFCO-1233zd. It offers fast initial reaction and reduced potential for “Blue Haze”. Polycat® 201 is used in all polyether, polyester and polyether/polyester-based rigid PUR and PUR/PIR formulations, spray foams as well as in continuous and discontinuous insulation panels (flexible and metal-faced). Recommended shelf life is 24 months.
