Polycat® 201 by Evonik is an amine-based catalyst for use with low GWP blowing agents. It is a reactive amine catalyst, in comparison to conventional catalysts it facilitates for reduced amine emissions during spraying. Possesses excellent system stability with HFCO-1233zd. It offers fast initial reaction and reduced potential for “Blue Haze”. Polycat® 201 is used in all polyether, polyester and polyether/polyester-based rigid PUR and PUR/PIR formulations, spray foams as well as in continuous and discontinuous insulation panels (flexible and metal-faced). Recommended shelf life is 24 months.
