Epodil® 746 by Evonik is an aliphatic glycidyl ether, specifically 2-ethylhexyl glycidyl ether (EHGE). It is monofunctional and reduces the viscosity of epoxy resin systems. It causes molecular weight chain termination, the minimum amount necessary to achieve the desired viscosity reduction should be used. Possesses improved flexibility. Used in laminates and potting compounds. Epodil® 746 is particularly useful where low volatility levels are required so that problems in poorly ventilated areas are minimized. Epodil® 747 by Evonik is a monofunctional reactive diluent. It has low volatility and increased pot life. Offers efficient viscosity reduction in epoxy resin systems and improves flexibility. Epodil® 747 is used in laminates and potting compounds. Epodil® 749 by Evonik is a reactive difunctional reactive diluent based on neopentyl glycol. It can be added in small quantities (less than 5%) to standard epoxy resins. Offers resistance to crystallization without sacrificing physical properties. Used in laminates, potting and encapsulation. Maximum viscosity reduction of liquid epoxy resins with minimum reduction in physical properties can be achieved with Epodil® 749. Epodil® 759 by Evonik is a monofunctional reactive diluent. Possesses increased flexibility and is used to reduce the viscosity of epoxy resin systems. Designed for laminates, civil engineering materials, potting compounds and flooring. Suitable in applications where low volatility levels are required so that potential problems in poorly ventilated areas are minimized. Slight increases in pot life can be expected when Epodil® 759 is blended into epoxy systems. Epodil® 750 is a difunctional reactive diluent by Evonik. Used to reduce the viscosity of epoxy resin systems. It helps obtain maximum viscosity reduction with physical and performance properties similar to those obtained with standard unmodified epoxy resins. Shows a minimal impact on reactivity and has low volatility. Epodil® 750 is used in electrical potting, casting and encapsulation & laminates. Epodil® 748 reactive diluent by Evonik is an aliphatic glycidylether, comparable to Epoxide 8. Provides excellent viscosity reduction. Possesses the low level of volatility and ability to reduce the surface tension of epoxy resins. Exhibits low vapor pressure, low toxicitty and improved flexibility. Improves adhesion to non-polar surfaces. Epodil® 748 is used in laminates and has a shelf life of at least 36 months. Epodil® 742 monofunctional reactive diluent by Evonik is cresyl glycidyl ether (CGE). Used to reduce the viscosity of epoxy resin systems. It causes molecular weight chain termination, and reduces the crystallization potential of standard epoxy resins. It minimizes the loss of chemical resistance and possesses low volatility. Epodil® 742 is used in laminates, tooling and electrical potting compounds. Epodil® 757 by Evonik is a reactive diluent. It is a technical grade of the glycidyl ether of cyclohexane dimethanol. Designed to reduce the viscosity of epoxy resin systems. Offers excellent creep resistance and good maintenance of physical properties. Shows moderate dilution efficiency and minimal effect on cure speed. Epodil® 757 is used in laminates and potting compounds.
