Surecel™ T-55 by Dow is a blowing agent. This acrylic foam cell promoter is effective in Celuka process applications where greater efficiency and excellent cell structure are required. It employs patent pending formulation technology, which allows for incredibly effective gas containment imparting lower density and maintaining consistent cell structure. The robust cell structure allows elimination of voids typically found near the edges of profiles such as deck boards or fascia boards. Surecel™ T-55 is developed for cellular vinyl applications such as free foam sheet where reduction of part density to 0.55 g/cc is desired. It is suitable for PVC extrusion applications. Surecel™ T-50 by Dow is a blowing agent. This acrylic foam cell promoter is designed to enable the extrusion of foam sheet at a density lower than conventional process aid technology. Surecel™ T-50 provides lower gloss and has the potential to allow the extrusion of thicker sheet due to the excellent retention of cell structure as well as higher gas retaining ability. It is compatible with PVC. Surecel™ 445 by Dow is a high efficiency, acrylic foam cell promoter blowing agent. It offers high melt strength, high gas containment limit and high melt expansion. This product possesses excellent closed-cell structure and narrow cell size distribution. Surecel™ 445 exhibits good dimensions, thickness control, low foam-density and low surface roughness. It is designed to deliver excellent performance at an optimized loading. It is compatible with PVC. The shelf life of this product is 2.5 years.
