Surecel™ T-55

Surecel™ T-55 by Dow is a blowing agent. This acrylic foam cell promoter is effective in Celuka process applications where greater efficiency and excellent cell structure are required. It employs patent pending formulation technology, which allows for incredibly effective gas containment imparting lower density and maintaining consistent cell structure. The robust cell structure allows elimination of voids typically found near the edges of profiles such as deck boards or fascia boards. Surecel™ T-55 is developed for cellular vinyl applications such as free foam sheet where reduction of part density to 0.55 g/cc is desired. It is suitable for PVC extrusion applications.
