Forane® 22 by Arkema is a gaseous hydrochlorofluorocarbon (HCFC). It is used alone or in combination with other blowing agents to expand polystyrene boards or polyolefins used for pipe insulation. It can be used as a co-blowing agent in polyurethanes and polyisocyanurates for such products as cold storage building panels. Forane® FBA 1233zd by Arkema is a high performance, non-flammable and non-toxic, liquid foam blowing agent. It is environmentally-friendly, easy-to-use and compatible with most existing foam equipment. It offers zero ozone depletion potential (ODP), extra low global warming potential (GWP) and high insulation. It is suitable for most polyurethane (PU) and PIR applications, including residential appliance, commercial refrigeration, construction panels and doors, as well as spray foam. Forane® FBA 1233zd is also suitable for the thermal management of batteries in electric vehicles. It is listed under U.S, EPA’s and SNAP. Forane® 142b by Arkema is gaseous 1-chloro-1,1-difluoroethane blowing agent. It is used alone or in combination with other blowing agent in production of polystyrene insulation board and as a primary or coblowing agent for polyolefin pipe insulation and packaging. It reduces ozone depletion potential and global warming potential. Forane® 141b by Arkema is hydrochlorofluorocarbon (HCFC). It is used alone or in combination with other blowing agents in plastic foams for polyurethane and polyisocyanate insulation products. It offers low ozone depletion potential and global warming potential. Forane® 141b is used in laminated insulating board, spray foam roofing, cold storage building panels, insulated doors, water heater insulation, refrigerated truck lining and domestic refrigeration. Forane® 134a by Arkema is long term hydrofluorocarbon (HFC). It is used alone or in combination with other blowing agents for many polymer expansion applications, including polyisocyanurates, polyurethanes, polystyrenics, engineering plastics, and polyolefins. It offers no ozone depletion potential. Forane® 142b/22 by Arkema is blend of hydrochlorofluorocarbons. It is used as a blowing agent in expansion of polystyrene boards and polyolefin foams for pipe insulation and packaging. It offers very low ozone depletion potential and global warming potential.
