Forane® 141b by Arkema is hydrochlorofluorocarbon (HCFC). It is used alone or in combination with other blowing agents in plastic foams for polyurethane and polyisocyanate insulation products. It offers low ozone depletion potential and global warming potential. Forane® 141b is used in laminated insulating board, spray foam roofing, cold storage building panels, insulated doors, water heater insulation, refrigerated truck lining and domestic refrigeration.
