Cyrez 9641 by Acmechem is a crosslinker for promoting adhesion and reinforcing systems in rubber applications. It is non toxic and non corrosive to steel cord, polyester cord or metal molds, and brass/bronze coated steel. It is suitable as methylene donor. It offers the ultimate rubber adhesion giving optimum bonding strength. It disperses readily. It has low dust level and good flowing properties. It is used for bonding rubber to organic cord/fabric and steel cord/wire reinforcement materials. Cyrez 9641 can also be used in conjunction with methylene acceptors in rubber compounds to increase modulus, tensile strength, stiffness and hardness. It provides scorch protection. It has a shelf life of one year.
