Supplied byWacker- Last Updated on May 24, 2023

VINNEX® 8880 by Wacker is vinyl acetate-vinyl laurate copolymer. Acts as an impact modifier. Exhibits enhanced flexibility, higher mechanical toughness & optimized crystallinity and enables film blowing with PHB. It has increased melt strength, improved processability, reduced noise of PLA films, maintained transparency, good performance in film sealing and improved adhesion to paper. It does not show reduction in hardness or modulus and enables improved stiffness without affecting biodegradability. Suitable for extrusion (Sheet & blown film), injection molding, calendaring and thermoforming. Used in cutlery, packaging (boxes, bags, foams), mulch films, office supplies (pens), toys and household wares. VINNEX® 8880 is also used in medical applications, disposable tableware & cups and non-woven fabric.
