WARADUR® GE

WARADUR® GE by Voelpker is a glycerol ester wax of montanic acids with a slightly higher molecular weight than WARADUR® E. The corresponding glycerol esters exhibit chain length in the range of approx. C60 avg. and provide this wax with a low volatility, good thermostability and low migration rates. It acts as a release agent, flow improver, dispersing agent for color masterbatches and filled plastics (talc, glass fiber), gloss booster, surface improver. It is made from a fossil biological source. It is compatible with thermoplastics such as PA, PBT, TPE, PC, PVC, styrenics, thermosets such as epoxy resins, phenolic resins and polyurethane. The maximum shelf life is 5 years. WARADUR® GE has reached the criteria for inherent biodegradability (OECD Guideline 301 D, Closed Bottle Test).
