Therm-chek® RC-962P

Therm-chek® RC-962P by Valtris Specialty Chemicals is a high-performance calcium-zinc powder heat stabilizer. It is suitable for THWN/THWN2 wire and cable insulation applications. It uses proprietary technology to offer outstanding heat stability, excellent color hold and maintenance of long term wet electrical properties and insulation resistance in 75°C and 90°C water.

• It is used in compounding and subsequent extrusion operations while maintaining the physical properties of the insulation.
• It is free of heavy metals, phenol and substances of high concern (SVHC’s).
• Therm-chek® RC-962P is recommended for plastic processing, auto components, belts & hoses, coated fabrics & textiles, textile inks & dyes, packaging, closures and caps.
• It is used in film & sheet, flexible toys & parts, flooring, roofing, lawn & garden, medical & pharmaceutical and plastisol compounds.
• The recommended dosage level is 5-7 phr.
