LS-4050

LS-4050 by MPI Chemie is a low molecular weight, hindered amine light stabilizer with low volatility. It provides excellent light stability for articles with a high surface area such as films and tapes. It prevents degradation and gives plastics the required resistance to light, temperature and weathering. It is suitable for thermoplastics, elastomers, polystyrene, impact polystyrene, POM, SAN, ASA, polypropylene, impact modified PP (TPO) and EPDM. It is used in applications demanding high light stability (styrenic polymers & PP) and high temperature processes. Recommended for electrical components, housings, ABS consumer electronics, PA power tools, PS/HIPS appliances & white goods, PP/LDPE low-voltage cable insulation & jackets, heavy duty packaging and PP/HDPE returnable crate applications. LS-4050 is also used in artificial turf, indoor/outdoor PE monofilament/tapes, sports indoor/outdoor PA & PP monofilament/tapes, PA automotive fibers and PA building & construction fiber applications.
