MULTIBASE™ MB50-321 Masterbatch by DuPont is designed to be used as an additive in polypropylene-compatible systems to impart processing improvements and modification of surface characteristics. It is a pelletized formulation containing 50% of an ultra-high molecular weight siloxane polymer dispersed in polypropylene (PP) homopolymer. It provides enhanced surface properties including enhanced lubricity and slip, lower coefficient of friction and improved mar resistance. MULTIBASE™ MB50-321 Masterbatch is FDA-approved. The recommended dosage level is 0.2-10% with a shelf life of 48 months.
