MULTIBASE™ MB50-320 Masterbatch by DuPont is designed to be used as an additive in EVA-compatible systems to impart processing improvements and modification of surface characteristics. MULTIBASE™ MB50-320 Masterbatch is a pelletized formulation containing 50% of an ultra-high molecular weight siloxane polymer dispersed in EVA polymer. It imparts processing improvements, and better mold fill and release. It offers lower extruder torque and enhanced lubricity. The recommended dosage level is 0.2-5% with shelf life of 48 months. It can be added during compounding in a single screw extruder or added at the feed hopper during the injection molding or extrusion.
