MULTIBASE™ MB25-502 Masterbatch

MULTIBASE™ MB25-502 Masterbatch by DuPont is used as an additive in polyethylene-compatible systems to provide benefits such as processing improvements. It enhances processing. It can cost effectively boost throughput by upto 110 percent and improves slip properties. It also avoids die build-up and die pressure that require frequent interruptions for cleaning. It reduces extruder screw torque by up to 30% and limits die pressure build-up and plate-out. It is suitable for use in LDPE, LLDPE & XLPE. Blended with virgin and or filled polymer pellets to give the desired siloxane level in the final product. Recommended dosage level is 2-4% with shelf life of 48 months. MULTIBASE™ MB25-502 Masterbatch is used for mineral-filled PE compounds used in wire and cable insulation and jacketing.
