Ionphase™ rSTAT2 by Cargill is a halogen-free, UV stabilized, permanent, polymeric anti-static agent. It is non-migrating, not humidity dependent and provides low surface resistivity & stability against weathering. It offers control & safety for static electricity caused issues, improved non-charging properties and reduced charge decay time.
- It forms an interpenetrated network within the host polymer reducing the resistivity of the blend.
- It is used in rigid intermediate bulk containers (RIBC), drums, and canisters.
- It is used to control static electricity in plastics.
- Ionphase™ rSTAT2 is designed to be used with polyethylene (HDPE) in extrusion blow molding applications.
- It is also suitable for injection molding applications.
- It has shelf life of 730 days.
