Irgastat® P 22 by BASF is a non-sparking, transparent anti-static agent. It is a polymeric system based on polyamide/polyether block amide. It is incorporated as melt additive.
- It is thermally stable and effective at low humidity (<10%).
- Surface resistivity down to 108 O/sq can be achieved, depending on substrate.
- It forms more distinct fiber network and requires lower addition levels.
- It is compatible with polyolefins.
- Irgastat® P 22 is suitable for use in electronic and industrial packaging, housings and parts of business machines and also thermoplastic polymers, transparent film, fiber or molded applications.
- Recommended dosage is 4–15 %.
