Irgastat® P 22

Irgastat® P 22 by BASF is a non-sparking, transparent anti-static agent. It is a polymeric system based on polyamide/polyether block amide. It is incorporated as melt additive.

• It is thermally stable and effective at low humidity (<10%).
• Surface resistivity down to 10⁸ O/sq can be achieved, depending on substrate.
• It forms more distinct fiber network and requires lower addition levels.
• It is compatible with polyolefins.
• Irgastat® P 22 is suitable for use in electronic and industrial packaging, housings and parts of business machines and also thermoplastic polymers, transparent film, fiber or molded applications.
• Recommended dosage is 4–15 %.
