Oleris® Esterol A by Arkema is a mixture of fatty acids methyl esters in C18 processed from castor oil (FAME, VOME from castor oil). It acts as fluxing agent in bitumen, viscosity regulator in metallurgy, degreasing & cleaning agent, mold release agent, and oiliness agent. It is readily biodegradable (75% after 28 days) and exhibits low toxicity, low viscosity, good oxidation resistance, high boiling point, high lubricity, good anti-wear properties and high flash point. Oleris® Esterol A is recommended for various industrial applications such as lubricant manufacturers, consumer goods, concrete mold-release, leather and textile treatment. It has a shelf life of 3 years.
